Brochure printing questions

How much does brochure printing cost?
Brochure printing starts at $130 for 100 and the unit price drops sharply with volume, so it is worth checking the per-unit figure on each quantity tile before deciding. The jump from 100 to 1,000 is usually large enough to change your mind. Bi-fold and tri-fold cost the same, and full colour on both sides is included.
What is the difference between a bi-fold and a tri-fold brochure?
A bi-fold has one fold and four panels, giving you fewer but larger faces. A tri-fold has two folds and six panels, fits more information, and sits in a standard brochure rack or a business envelope. Both are the same price here, so pick based on how much you need to say.
Do you offer bulk brochure printing?
Yes. Runs go from 100 up to 1,000 per order, and the per-unit price falls at every tier. For larger volumes than that, use the request form on this page and we will quote it directly.
Which paper weight should I choose?
Standard thickness for volume distribution, mailers and handouts. Premium thickness for business brochures that will be handed to a client or left on a desk, where the extra substance is doing part of the selling. Premium also holds its crease better over time.
Do the brochures arrive already folded?
Yes. They are folded and creased on our equipment before shipping, so they arrive ready to hand out or rack. You never receive flat sheets to fold yourself.
What file format should I send?
A print-ready PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK with 0.125 inch bleed, set up as one flat spread rather than separate panels. We also accept AI and high-resolution PNG or JPG. A Print Concierge reviews whatever you send and will tell you before we print if anything needs changing.
How long will my brochures take?
The arrival estimate at the top of this page is live and updates as you configure your order. Production starts the same day for orders placed before 3PM ET, and the estimate already accounts for production plus transit, skipping weekends.
Where do you ship brochures?
Anywhere in the United States. We print in Florida and ship nationwide. Shipping is free on orders over $120 and a flat $15 below that.

01

Printed by people, not machines

Every brochure printing order is checked by a dedicated Print Concierge before it reaches the press. Brochures fail in ways flat sheets do not: text drifting into the fold, a panel laid out in the wrong order, a background that stops a millimetre short of the crease. We look for those specifically. If we find one, we contact you before we print, not after. That single step is why our reprint rate on custom brochure printing is a fraction of what the automated online printers run.

02

Bi-fold or tri-fold: which one you actually need

A bi-fold brochure is one fold and four panels. It reads like a short menu, gives you two large faces for photography, and is the right choice when you have one strong offer and want it to land. A tri-fold brochure is two folds and six panels. It fits more without feeling crowded, works in a standard rack or a business envelope, and suits a service list, a price sheet or a step-by-step explanation.

  • Bi-fold: fewer, bigger panels. Best for a single message, a product hero shot, or an event.
  • Tri-fold: six smaller panels. Best for service menus, FAQs, and anything that needs to sit in a rack.

Both cost the same here, so choose on how much you have to say rather than on price.

03

Choosing the right paper weight

Paper does more work on a brochure than on any other printed piece, because the customer is holding it open.

  • Standard thickness: lighter, folds crisply, and costs less per unit. The right call for bulk brochure printing, mailers, handouts and anything you are distributing in volume.
  • Premium thickness: noticeably more substantial in the hand and holds its crease without softening. Worth it for business brochures that sit on a desk, get handed to a client, or represent a high-value service.

If your brochure is going in a rack where dozens compete for attention, the heavier stock stands up instead of curling. If it is going in an envelope by the thousand, the lighter one is the sensible choice.

04

Getting your artwork print-ready

Send a PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK with 0.125 inch bleed on every edge. Keep text and logos at least 0.25 inch inside the trim, and further from the folds than you think you need. The most common problem we catch on brochure printing is a headline running straight across a crease, which looks fine on screen and unreadable in the hand.

  • Set up your file as a single flat spread, not as separate panels.
  • Panel widths differ on a tri-fold: the panel that folds inward is slightly narrower so it does not buckle.
  • Convert type to outlines or embed your fonts.

If any of that is unfamiliar, upload what you have and the Concierge will tell you exactly what needs changing.

05

Need a brochure designed?

No artwork is not a problem. Choose Design it for me and our professional design team will build your brochure for $75, laid out correctly for the fold you picked, and hand back a print-ready file you own outright. You can also send files later, or reorder a design we have printed for you before. Nothing goes to press until you approve the proof.

06

Printing and delivery

Our press runs seven days a week and we ship nationwide from Florida. Order by 3PM ET and production starts the same day, with the arrival estimate at the top of this page updating live as you configure. Brochures ship folded and creased, ready to use. Shipping is free on orders over $120; below that it is a flat $15. If you also need business cards or flyers, ordering together is usually what pushes you over the free-shipping line.
