    Business card printing questions

    How much does custom business card printing cost?
    Business cards start at $42 for 100 in 16pt Standard, and the unit cost falls sharply with volume. Price depends on thickness, finish, corners and quantity. The configurator above shows the exact price for your specification before you commit, including the per-card figure at each quantity.
    What is the difference between 16pt, 18pt and 32pt?
    Point measures caliper thickness. 16pt is a solid everyday business card. 18pt is noticeably more substantial in the hand. 32pt is triple-layered luxury stock roughly twice the thickness of standard, and it will not bend in a pocket. The comparison table above shows the exact measurements.
    Are rounded corners available on every card?
    Rounded corners are available on Standard and Premium. Ultra is supplied with standard corners only, because 32pt triple-layered stock is cut differently. If you need rounded corners on a heavyweight card, call 786-305-5600 and we will talk through the options.
    Do you print magnetic or plastic business cards?
    Yes. Magnetic business cards stick to a fridge or filing cabinet and keep you in front of the customer. Plastic cards are waterproof and tear-proof in 20PT flexible or 30PT rigid. Both are selectable above as their own card type.
    What file format should I send?
    Vector artwork is best: AI, EPS or a press-ready PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK. We also accept high-resolution PNG and JPG, though type and logos are always sharper from vector. Upload your file and your Print Concierge checks it before anything goes on press.
    What is bleed and do I need it?
    Bleed is artwork extending past the trim line so no white edge appears if the cut shifts fractionally. Add 0.125in on every side and keep important content at least 0.125in inside the cut. If your file has no bleed we will tell you, and in most cases we can add it for you.
    How fast is business card printing?
    Our press runs seven days a week. Order by 3PM ET and your job enters that day's production queue. The estimated arrival date above updates with your configuration and assumes artwork has been approved.
    Where do you ship business cards?
    We ship nationwide across the United States. Our press is in Florida, which keeps proofing and production fast. Ground shipping is included on orders over $120. Florida sales tax at 7% applies to print orders.
    Can I reorder without uploading again?
    Yes. Choose This is a reorder during checkout and we use the artwork we already hold on file. If you want a change to the previous version, tell your Print Concierge and they will handle it.

We check your artwork for resolution, bleed, trim, colour and print quality to catch problems before they are expensive. Unlike most online printing companies, if we spot an issue we contact you first. That is how we deliver professional custom business cards with fewer reprints and happier customers.

    Choosing Your Thickness

    Thickness is the first thing anyone notices when they take your card.

    • 16pt Standard: a genuine business card feel at the most accessible price. Right for high-volume handouts, events and networking.
    • 18pt Premium: noticeably more substantial in the hand. Our most popular choice for client-facing professionals.
    • 32pt Ultra: triple-layered luxury stock that will not bend in a pocket. People keep these. Right when the card is doing the work of a first impression.

    Matte or Gloss?

    Gloss lifts colour and photography, which suits bold, image-led designs and anything that needs to catch the light. Matte kills glare, reads more easily and takes a pen, so it wins if anyone will ever write on the back. Both finishes cost the same, so choose on function rather than budget.

    Standard or Rounded Corners

    Rounded corners cost slightly more and are worth it for two reasons: they resist the bent-corner damage that makes a card look tired in a wallet, and they read as deliberate. Standard corners are the classic choice and remain the right call for conservative industries. Ultra is supplied with standard corners only, because 32pt stock is cut differently.

    Print-Ready Artwork

    For the best result send a press-ready PDF, AI or EPS at 300 DPI in CMYK with 0.125in bleed on every edge. Business cards are small, so keep type and logos at least 0.125in inside the trim line. If your artwork is not set up that way, send it anyway. We review your files, fix minor issues where we can, and contact you before printing if anything needs attention.
