Printed by people, not machines
Door hangers have one failure mode that no automated printer will catch: artwork that runs into the die-cut hole. The hanger hole and the slot below it are cut out after printing, so anything placed there simply disappears, and a logo positioned an inch too high loses its top. A dedicated Print Concierge checks your file against the actual die line before anything goes on press, along with whether the reverse carries a real message rather than being left blank. If we find a problem we contact you first, not after a thousand hangers are boxed.

Choosing your size
Both sizes hang the same way. The difference is how much you are asking the reader to take in while standing at their own front door.
- Classic, 3.5 x 8.5: the standard door hanger. One offer, a phone number, a logo. Best for service businesses doing route-based canvassing where volume matters more than detail.
- Large, 4.5 x 11: noticeably more presence on the door and enough room for a short list, a coupon or a before-and-after image. Worth it when the sale needs more than one line to explain.
If you are dropping thousands across a neighbourhood, the classic size does the job. If you are targeting a specific street with a specific offer, the larger one earns its cost.

Why the back matters more than people think
Both sides print in full colour at no extra charge, and leaving the reverse blank is the most common wasted opportunity in door hanger printing. The hanger is seen twice: once face-on as the resident approaches, and again from behind as they take it off the handle. Use the front for the offer and the back for proof, hours, a map, a coupon with an expiry, or a short list of what you actually do. A blank back reads as a flyer someone stuck on a door. A printed back reads as a business.

Getting your artwork print-ready
Send a print-ready PDF at 300 DPI in CMYK with 0.125 inch bleed on every edge, and request the die template before you start if you have not printed with us before.
- Keep all text and logos at least 0.25 inch inside the trim.
- Leave the top two inches clear of anything critical. That area contains the hole and the slot.
- Background colours and images should run past the trim, including through the die-cut area.

Our press runs seven days a week and we ship nationwide from Florida. Order by 3PM ET and production starts the same day, with the arrival estimate at the top of this page updating live as you configure. Door hangers arrive die-cut and ready to hang, boxed flat. Shipping is free over $120 and a flat $15 below that, so a full campaign run usually ships free.
